 AWARD WINNER: Linda Harvey AN ALLOA mum who helped save the life of a teenager caught in a terrifying house fire was among the Wee County winners at the 2010 Central FM Local Hero Awards last week (May 20). Mum-of-two Linda Harvey scooped the Bravery Award for her cool head and quick-thinking which doctors say was “instrumental” in saving then 19-year-old Kerryann Easton’s life after she was badly burned in the fire last year.  TOP COP: Chief constable Kevin Smith CRIME in the Wee County has dropped by almost a fifth in the last year, a new police report says. Figures released by the Chief Constable of Central Scotland police force, Kevin Smith, show recorded crime in the Clackmannanshire area has reduced by 18 per cent compared to the figures for 2008 to 2009.
