Dad-of-one Mike Minihane endured hours of emergency surgery and spent days in intensive care after a gang-of-five attackers armed with machetes and rifles ambushed him outside his Kenyan home last month.  SEARCH: Police hunt for the attacker POLICE hunting a vile pervert who dragged a 14-year-old Dollar schoolgirl into a car at knifepoint before submitting her to a sickening sexual assault have launched an appeal for her missing phone. A team of over 20 cops are working round the clock in a bid to catch the abductor, and officers believe the missing mobile – a distinctive black Nokia E63 – could be key in identifying the paedophile.

 REPRIMAND: Chalmers in Alloa OWNERS of an Alloa nightclub have vowed to change the venue’s reputation after the licensing board warned them for breaking underage drinking laws. Chalmers owner Andrew Henderson and premises manger John James Carr appeared in front the of the Clackmannanshire Council licensing board last Thursday (July 1) after police called for the venue’s licence to be reviewed when they discovered five girls under the age of 18 in the club on December 4 last year.  IN PAIN: Mike lying in his hospital bed A WEE County man who had his nose and fingers hacked off while trying to protect his family during a brutal gang attack in Africa has returned home for his birthday. Mike Minihane, who was brought up in Dollar and attended the Academy, was in intensive care for three days, and kept in hospital for more than two weeks, following the shocking attack earlier this month.
