SOME of the most exciting names in music and arts are getting set to take over the Macrobert centre this weekend as the venue hosts its first ever multi arts festival.

 

mFest will feature stars like Scots star Calvin Harris, Tinchy Stryder and Daisy Dares You, as well as attention-grabbing acts such as as La Fura Dels Baus and Bard in the Botanics.

The entire three-day festival , running from July 30 to August 2, has been organised, programmed and marketed by local young people aged between 12 and 17 years, with the support of staff from the mPOWER project and macrobert staff.

 

For those wanting to throw themselves into the festival spirit, passes are available for £100 – £85 for concessions and £70 for under-18s – which can give you access to six shows plus first come first serve basis for all other shows.
